		<p>Sharad Joshi is geboren in Kathmandu, Nepal. Hij komt uit een muzikale familie. Hij is begonnen met gitaar spelen toen hij 13 was. Na de basis gitaarlessen van een gitarist / muzikant Nhyoo Bajracharya en Phiroj Shyangden, is zijn muzikale tocht begonnen.</p>
<p>Al vanaf middelbare school, heeft hij gespeeld in verschillende bands en met verschillende Nepalese artiesten zoals : Nhyoo Bajracharya, Ani Choying Drolma, Satya-Sworoop Aacharya, Jagdish Samal, Bhanubhakta Dhakal, Yogeshwor Amatya, Narendra Bataju etc.</p>
<p>Hij heeft met veel bands / solo artiesten verschillende genres gespeeld ( Pop, Rock, Funk, Jazz, Blues, Thrash Metal, Fusion etc)</p>
<p>Naast optreden, geeft hij ook gitaarles / theorieles / band coaching/kampvuurgitaarles</p>
<p>Hij heeft gewerkt als muziekdocent op basisscholen als : Triyog High School, Elites Co. Ed. en Alok Vidhyashram en in Do Re Mi Music School in Kathmandu</p>
<p>Leren is eindeloos, na wat jazz masterclasses met Michael Kaplan ( Jazz gitarist uit USA) en Jazz Pianist Sharad Gurung, is zijn interesse voor Jazz ontstaan. Om zich verder te kunnen ontwikkelen op dit gebied, is hij in 2009 naar Nederland gekomen om een muziekopleiding te volgen. In 2009 is hij aangenomen aan het Utrechtse Conservatorium, waarbij hij in augustus 2013 zijn Bachelor of Music Diploma (Jazz en Pop gitaar) ontving met muziekproductie en pedagogie als hoofdvakken.</p>
<p>Tijdens zijn studie waren Marcel Karreman, Wim Bronnenberg en Eef Albers zijn hooftvak docenten.</p>
